@jeffsayre Hey Jeff..
I read somewhere that the bp privacy component allows for restricting friend requests.
I am trying to restrict friend request for only certain members . I am using S2 member.
I was thinking to try this code

but am unsure if it iwll work as I am not a coder.
Do you have any thoughts on this ?

Hey! So I thought all was going well, but now my category pages go to a white screen.
The problem is ONLY with my category pages, not the posts themselves.

Hey. So somehow when I upgraded my theme, the tab section of the sliding login panel disappeared.
I checked the images folder and everything the ‘tab’ png’s are still there.
I can log in and log out.
The panel slides up and down. But the tabs which make the log in panel stand out are not being called .
any thoughts?

So my client has asked one of two things-
either make it so that the add from address book line stands out more or
put that line on top and the add email addresses one by one line on bottom.

hmm.
If you created the .po file and the .mo file you should have named it so that it now says buddypress-mysite or buddypress-new . I named it buddypress-new.po and buddypress-new.mo
do everything else the link says.

now go into you wpconfig file.
Go to and edit
define(‘WPLANG’, ‘en’)
so that it says define(‘WPLANG’, ‘new’)

hey. I’ve been trying to edit the css code for the Edit Profile Group Navs so that
the active ‘group’ the user is editing has a white background.
I can’t seem to find the right code in firebug.
here is a screenshot.
Anyone know what code I need to add the background color to?

Basically if you are editing group two of the edit profile section, how to code the next button so that it goes to group 3.

When you meaning hiding the link – what do you mean?
I can see the link and I can scroll over it, I just can’t click it.

I noticed that you mentioned to Sarah Gooding that you changed the code to include blogs and forum posts in the panel.

I am trying to add the link for Invite Anyone and the Buddypress Album link.
How can i get those to show up in the panel?

When I try to add this code under groups in the update-content.php file it redirects to the homepage.
