    Ok…it appears that when I create a blog as a “basic” user that the blog is not public by default. Is this how it should work? Is there a way to change the settings so that when a blog is created it is public automatically?

    I just figured out what I did wrong. It was an issue with the .htaccess file. All is good in the world now.

    @apeatling Andy,

    Searching the forums, I’ve learned that you had your hand in the 5-star rating system that’s used to rate Groups on the site. Would you by chance be willing to share/build a plug-in for this functionality so other BP users like myself can use on their sites?
