Great to hear that. I’m fully utilizing this plugin. Will send you more updates to make this a real SEO solution plugin for buddypress 🙂
-
I will add all what’s needed to make SEO in Buddypress as comfortable as possible. Please send me input!
The plugin is still in “construction mode”.
In the 1.2.1 beta version are already many new aspects, like editing meta data in posts and pages, but I didn’t have time to test it and the changes have been so enormous, that it’s buggy at the moment.

I’m not sure why suddenly my page went back to blog mode. Create a Test page, then assign Activity Stream from Settings > Reading. It works. Then I deleted the Test page.

Hi, i’ve noticed as an admin, I’m also not able to send the private message. I thought admin can send it. Do I need to adjust some where?
-
You should be able to. Are you using standard WP or WPMU? I haven’t done any testing with standard WP, but if you’re an administrator or can access the blog options pages in standard WP, my plugin should work.
On WPMU, you need to be a site administrator, which is different than a regular administrator.
Let me know which version of WP you are using.

In WPMU, I just gave site admin access to another member and that member is able to send private messages to other people w/o being friends.
Just to be clear, is your username listed as a site admin here?
http://wpmu.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/siteausers.jpg-
yes my username is here. But still unable to see the private message. Anything else i should check?
-
So your username is listed under “Site Admin > Options” under the Site Admins field?
-
-
Yes, I’ve created another member as Admin and that member also unable to send PM to non-friend. Do other plugins have affect on this?
-
Is this member created as a site admin?

This plugin is really easy to use. The message title on activity stream is one lacking feature here. Hope next version will see it.
-
Hi GoTamil, Thanks for your suggestion, I will add the message title on the activity stream in the next version.

What the close things I’ve done is sync buddypress with Twitter. Then send sms to my twitter account and got it work. But the reply feature can’t be used with this. Hope there will a solutions soon. If twitter can do it, buddypress also can 🙂

OK cool 🙂 Is this one can be used in normal WP installations too, replacing the /author/ base?

Thanks a lot for the complete set of codes. Just a small questions, once I’ve activated the root profiles, all the old updates still showing the older profiles. Anywhere I can modify it. The new status updates shows the new profiles. Thanks in advance!

You’ll have to write some RewriteRules in your .htaccess file.
Try something like this:
RedirectMatch 301 ^/members/(.*)$ http://example.com/$1Change example.com to your domain.
