This appears to work well with standard and Multi-site installs, but the developer wasn’t sure about BP.

Digging deeper, the problem is Memcached. Has anyone been able to get object caching like memcached or xcache to work with Buddypress?

Looks like it’s been bumped to BP 1.4.

This user was using W3TC and had the same issue – and that’s a popular plugin here in the community. As anyone found a fix?

Just disabled batcache by removing object-cache.php and advcanced-cache.php and defining caching as false in wp-config. Any way to differentiate between a sub-blog post image and a main blog update? I’d like to size blog post images like thumbnails, but allow for larger images in regular bp activity updates.
