I would also love to be able to do what @gtn is proposing. I’ve been able to set up a ‘News’ page that I can publish posts to which helps, but in the blogs listing, the main site blog is still linking through to my static home page rather than domain/news as I would like.

  There are some map plugins available, but I’ve not used them. As I understand it, there are plans to port the Ning app to BP in due course.

To exclude any WP page from the navbar, try this plugin:

To add links to your footer, simply edit your child theme’s footer.php file.

@gtn it would help to know exactly what your users are copying and pasting from, can you not ask one of them? also ask them to do a simple test, copy and paste an email, establish that this fails then ask them to type the same address in manually and see if that passes ok. It’s […]

Hi, Please take a look at the second code, It will allow you linking while retaining the buddypress style. I had forgot to put the li elements, so, corrected in the 2nd link.
