So what I did was deactivate, and activated another account, and the email appeared a-lot sooner I have done this several times, so I am starting to think […]

The way to make a custom redirect is from the:
$redirect_url_cc =
Put your desired domain after the “=” , but make sure you put it inside ” so you don’t get a parse error.

Make sure it’s the group are are trying to post in, like your “test group” and yes, delete the forum_id.
Than go into that groups’ admin, and re-enable the forum.

20 seconds to help on what? “Check link” does not tell us anything, AND this is not even an issue with buddypress!

Does it say “there was an error when creating the topic”?
Have you researched your problem on google and buddypress?

testbp is flooded with spammers, if you haven’t noticed, much worse than here, and buddypress.org has nothing to worry about ๐

Could be something related to: but It isn’t guaranteed to work, might need to play around with it..
function bp_adminbar_account_menu() {
global $bp;if ( !$bp->bp_nav || !is_user_logged_in() )
return false;echo '<li id="bp-adminbar-account-menu"><a href="' . bp_loggedin_user_domain() . '">';

Got it.
Now what I need to know is if your using a default theme, or custom theme.
Doing this could simple as transferring some code snippets from bp-core/adminbar.php, but I am not extremely code savy myself ๐

So, are you talking a additional tab in the admin bar with sub-nav links like “My Account”?

Is this even related to buddypress?
It looks like a css “overflow” issue.. but otherwise go to the plugin website for support there…

Go the group your attempting to post in and delete the forum_id, don’t delete the group_id.
So it would require going to the group, — forum — forum_id
And re-enabling forums is going into the group, under “admin”, then “group settings, and unchecking-and rechecking and see if that works

Try this: Go to: phpmyadmin > yourdatabase > wp_bp_groups_groupmeta Find the group youโre attempting to post to and then delete the forum_id value. Go back to your group on the front end. When logged in as admin of the group, go to settings and re-enable your forums. It will save a new forum_id for you […]

SVC posted on the forum topic number of notifications in admin bar in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 13 years, 10 months ago
If you are having CSS issues with buddypress, you need to go in the file yourself and make the correct changes that you want, like margins. As you said that the notification number just does not show up… go to the default theme and see if it shows up there.
