Now what I need to know is if your using a default theme, or custom theme.

Doing this could simple as transferring some code snippets from bp-core/adminbar.php, but I am not extremely code savy myself 🙂

So, are you talking a additional tab in the admin bar with sub-nav links like “My Account”?

Go the group your attempting to post in and delete the forum_id, don’t delete the group_id.

So it would require going to the group, — forum — forum_id

And re-enabling forums is going into the group, under “admin”, then “group settings, and unchecking-and rechecking and see if that works

If you are having CSS issues with buddypress, you need to go in the file yourself and make the correct changes that you want, like margins. As you said that the notification number just does not show up… go to the default theme and see if it shows up there.
