I’ve not seen a plugin that can do specifically what you need, but try searching the WordPress Plugin Directory for something similar and then perhaps try modifying it to your needs.

Try placing this in your member’s profile template:

If you’re in the members loop, you can use this to output a button: bp_member_add_friend_button()

You’d need to use JavaScript for this. Something like “on file select, trigger submit button click”

Do you mean the ‘Home’ item in your navigation? The rest of the text on that page already seems to be white.
