@DJPaul , thanks for response! It’d be great if Achievements shake hands with Courseware.

Currently, teacher create “Assignment” and give students “Grade” according to their response.This is somewhat similiar to Ahievement&Unlock. But a member must become a student to get the Grade.

I am using a home-made child theme, basically only changed bp-default to fluid layout. Let me clean up the function.php to disable some functions that require some plugins. Then, I will upload it to your gmail address.

  hmm—thanks. I had changed certain default behaviour in EP, forgot to remove the call in the deregister part—will get this corrected by the next release.

    @juss , this weekend I tried to change a word in a plugin. With the hellp of an efficient find/replace software, I got the job done in 8 hours. Then, spend another 6 hours to correct things that got messed up. eyes still painful till today. And that was just changing one word without using brain.

I newly installed ep on a new site, with wp3.1 and bp1.28, with child theme. When click Event on my profile nav tab, it goes to home page. Deactivating other plugins or re-install ep doesn’t solve the problem. I deleted all files in the child theme folder, left only style.css, still can’t solve the problem.   imjscn: I think this is a bug I haven’t had time to investigate—but if i remember correctly, doing the reverse (ie copying files from the parent theme to the child theme might resolve the issue temporarily). I was just concentrating on getting EP WP3.1 compatible this release.

I want to have a global forum where members can post without joining any group. I searched out this:
Change the parent forum to use for all BuddyPress group forums: define ( 'BP_FORUMS_PARENT_FORUM_ID', $forum_id );

Deos this mean to create such a global forum?

my-groups tab and create-links loads the message of “there are no outstanding invites”.

I don’t recon I’ve done anything on nav tabs recently, and disable plugins doesn’t solve the problem.

Need help!

I’m glad you like the idea.
Currently, I’m trying Achievements plugin. I haven’t figure out how to create an Achievement with Courseware items for the students to “unlock”. and I hear that the developer is planning a big rewrite. So, now, I may just wait 🙂

@Stas, yes, that’s the idea 🙂 If we have such a ToDo list, things are clear at a glance. plands(items added), pregress(some marks and notes), achievements(grade).
