@pcwriter Hello thanks for your reply. I am using one of the basic BuddyPress themes, however I changed the PHP in the footer.php file to add my own custom footer and AdSense adverts at the bottom of the page, could this be why the banner is gone?

This is has been sorted, thanks for your help. I contacted my host and they installed GD into the server.

The BP Admin Bar at the top of the site. The one that says, “My Account”, “Notifications” etc.

All of a sudden the admin bar disappeared on the website, however it is still there when I log into the admin of the site? “Hide admin bar for logged out users?” Is checked as no, how do I get the admin bar back up on the website? Thanks.

Hello all. I just installed the BP Album plug in, and when I choose the file I want to upload, then click “Upload”, it takes me to a URL which is not found. How do I resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Ok, so now when I choose to edit my avatar, I can successfully crop the image, and then I click “Crop Image”, it says “Your new avatar was uploaded successfully!”
However, the avatar has not been changed on my profile? How can I resolve this? Thanks.

Hello everyone. I have managed to get my BuddyPress website up and running, however I am having problems with Avatars. When I click on a file to upload, it says

“Upload Failed! Error was: The GD image library is not installed.”

Can anyone help me in getting this sorted? Many thanks.
