    Ah, on another post I found this for the hint of the password:

    Hint: The password should be at least seven characters long. To make it stronger, use upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols like ! ” ? $ % ^ & ).’ “

    I tried it and using those characters I get a ‘strong’ password. It is still a little over zealous though! As my previous test password is considered strong on all other sites except buddypress which gives the value of ‘very weak’ so I would still like to change this setting to be more relaxed but at least I am a little closer to understanding how they measure the strength of the password.

    Anybody have any clues with this? Getting the current or selected list item to work / pull through from the PHP for the loggedin user nav.

    Thanks

    It truncated the code I tried to show you, hopefully this will work:

    <li id="li-nav-">
    <a id="my-" href=""></a>
    </li>

    You’re an angel! Thank you this worked perfectly!

    Have you any idea how to do the same for this random first link that appears when using the :
    <?php bp_get_loggedin_user_nav(); ?>

    The code for the weird ‘blank’ link is this:

    <li id=”li-nav-“>

    I have tried hiding it myself using the code you posted tweaking it slightly to fit with the blank link but it didn’t work, probably cause I’m php stupid..

    Any help greatly appreciated!

    Thanks

    Jem
