@mistercyril am just discovering this myself, but it looks like it allows you to make different extended fields (or groups) available to different kinds of users. pretty cool! though not what i was looking for…

so that if, for example, you want to ask an admin what his favorite color is, but not a contributor, you can! 🙂

I’m looking for something similar – need to be able to update user profiles as an admin from backend…let me know if you find anything! 🙂

Maybe I’m coming at this the wrong way. Maybe by “active” BP just means having had recent activity. In that case, how to show all members regardless of activity level, AND, how to manage user profiles as an admin (ie, adding info, etc)?
