I’ve added to the ticket, found the cause.

Obviously when you edit a user in WP, it doesn’t append anything to the user_nicename.This happens when BP is active.

Using Buddypress 1.2.5.2, is there any reason that when viewing a users profile (or your own), under the activity sub-menu of the profile, if you select “Groups” it shows the exact same items shown under “Personal”? are you considering updating the Privacy plugin. it doesn’t seem to work any longer wp 301 & bp152
