Buddypress really should have a character limit option for the profile fields and comments…
I was able to locate the css and hide the nav bar for now so I can begin creating a new one, but I can find the html no where! This is just a temp fix…so if anyone knows any solutions please help! Greatly appreciated.
I’ve done everything above. I added the code to my header.php with script tags, then I made the changes to the code that you said to do and then added the css class. I’m not sure what you mean by “(which you’re now adding a class for based on your scrolling)” but it is not working. Not sure what I did wrong…
The shadow is on yes, but I don’t want the shadow showing until I scroll down the page. Then, when I scroll back to the top of the page the shadow disappears. For a somewhat similar example of what I am trying to do, look at yahoo finance—> finance.yahoo.com .You can see the purple shadow that appears at the bottom of the header when scrolling down, then it disappears when at the page top.
Ok great! It worked perfectly. Thanks Tecca, I really appreciate it.
Thanks for your time and feedback. The nav-wrap is located in header.php. I’m just trying to adjust the height to fit more content in the nav-wrap NOT to align the text (inspire, act…). I’m not quit sure what you mean by “add the <style> tags in your homepage’s template and add higher priorities for your classes.” Are you saying put <style> tags around <div class=”nav-wrap”>?? Sorry, I’m new to coding. Also, could I use some kind of function like this: <?php if (is_front_page) ?? I wouldn’t know what to put from there. Sorry for my lack of understanding..ha
