She lives in Idylwood, a quiet historic neighborhood in Houston with her cats and shoe collection. | WordPress Origin Story | In the Spring of 2004, Movable Type decided to alter its licensing agreement. This caused scores of A- and B-list bloggers to seek out an alternative CMS. Enter WordPress. I dove headfirst into it and haven’t looked back. That was, of course, back when all WordPress had was header.php, footer.php, sidebar.php, index.php, and styles.css. Pages were but a gleam in Matt Mullenweg’s eye back then. Oh, how far we have come! |
