Any chance of getting the Secure Invites plugin integrated? The description for it says it has it’s own point system which even has a pyramid scheme type functionality, but it’d be awesome if those could somehow translate into points in the Cubepoints system.

And again, I do have a bit of funding I could throw at this to have it working by August 1!

And one more question! I’m really confused about the points system this plugin describes. Where can users go to see the points? Could this be tied into Cubepoints somehow so that members earn those for referring people who actually join? The Cubepoints integration is what I REALLY need!

OK, i have another question…would it be possible for this plugin to generate a STATIC url for each member to use to refer others? Like anyone coming to and joining the site via http://www.mybpsite.com/members/refer/someuser would credit @someuser with the signup? This would be great, because then people could put their link in their signatures…[Read more]

Nevermind, I installed and there IS an option to keep open registration alongside invites. The plugin description makes it sound like there’s no disabling the open registration disabling, though. Might want to add to the description that the option exists 😉

I’m interested in this plugin, but is there any way to use it AND have open registration as well? I’d love to motivate my existing members by using this to run a contest, but I don’t want to shut out people who happen upon the site w/o being invited by someone.

I have no knowledge to add, but the activity feed update wouldn’t really be ideal for my situation. @elizawhat, what do you mean by “tighten up security”? I’m using the default BP theme (well, with a child theme), and wasn’t aware that anything needed to be added to it when using with 3.0 for security purposes!

@queertoday: do you need members to be able to maintain their own, separate blog sites, or do you just want them to be able to publish posts on the main site’s blog? If they need their OWN blogs, you’ll need to set your WordPress installation to Multisite mode:

The fix that @shamus posted sort of worked for me…I still get the red error box if I try to delete a user from the front end, but I’m able to do it just fine from the admin panel.

I’m running WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.5, but I also h ad this issue with BP 1.2.4.

When I send a PM, I get a notification that I have a new PM.

Anyone else having this issue, and is there a fix for it?
