@AviM: If you wanted attempt to go the child theme route (which really isn’t that hard at all), you could always just put a bp_group_is_admin conditional around the group activity stream update form on groups/single/activity.php. It’s worked fine for me.

Yeah, I read somewhere that the bug that was making it impossible had been fixed. I’m happy to share my template if you still need it, though 🙂

  I’ve got this going but I think it may be knocking out my tweetblender, could this be true? If you look at my site http://www.science2point0.com you will see that the home page (activity stream) does not have tweets in the sidebar but every other page does. Any thoughts? @r-a-y

OK, @boonebgorges graciously helped me with this issue last night, and the conclusion he came to was that Cubepoints (or the integration plugin, not sure which) will need to register as a Buddypress plugin in order to be allowed to send notifications. Any way to have the recipient of a points donation get a notification of the event (including the donator’s name and possibly amount donated) in the admin bar, where you get PM notifications and such?

I haven’t had anyone complaining, really, but I do have new members constantly saying that it’s going to take them a while to figure out how things work. I’m pandering to a vbulletin forum crowd, but most of them are also Facebookers, so I don’t really understand what’s so confusing for them *shrug*
