Bump! Using solution #2 did work to add the link, but I just don’t think I want to sacrifice the sorting and “active” tab highlighting (which is what it’s caused).

Can anyone walk me through implementing solution #1 mentioned by @sbrajesh?

I just checked, and deactivating the group tags plugin didn’t help. I’m assuming the tip works fine w/ the forums extras plugin, since that’s yours, right?

  correct – etivite is running all the tips/plugins that i have created. i’ll probably look at this tomorrow

OK, more info on this (if anyone’s reading?) It seems to be an issue with Private groups. When I edited and set the group I’m having the issue with to Public, the correct day/time displayed in the Last Post column on the forum index.

Anyone have any ideas?

Nevermind, I just realized that a component of the forums extras plugin does exactly what I need. BP-TinyMCE still looks awesome for those who need more, though. I hope my posts help someone else having issues 🙂
