I know there’s a plugin to change the slugs on individual groups, but I’m looking to change the word “groups” in the URL of places like the group directory. For instance, I’d like the directory page’s URL to be http://www.riotcart.com/gangs/ instead of http://www.riotcart.com/groups/ I *think* I accomplished this for turning “blogs” into “shops”…[Read more]

OK, I have a new request…would it be possible to display a user’s list of favorites on a page other than members/username/activity/favorites/ ?

I’d love to use the favorites feature on my site to allow users to create something like Etsy Treasuries, and display a new member’s picks each day/week/whatever on my site’s front page.

Just in case anyone else wondered, the answer is $15. I had to use the contact form on the author’s site to get an answer, but the support from that point (I have one user not able to log in due to weird ip issues) has been superb 🙂

I’d like to get rid of the ads, but am confused…in the plugin descriptions here and on wordpress.com, it says to donate $5 and I’ll be contacted for my site URL to disable the ads, but I don’t see any directions on how to donate other than a link to a page that wants to charge me $15. Is it $5 or $15?!

Here’s what I have on my member_header.php for the “feedback” button and the number of feedback comments for the member: http://pastebin.com/RwtAR1JN

It hunges on the fact that the fb post plugin creates a post titled with the member’s login name, so as long as you haven’t messed with that feature, you should be OK to just change the URL in that…[Read more]

@ddgdaily, I’m not seeing a “most favorited” list anywhere on your site? Is all of that code you pastebinned just the stuff to add the *ability* to favorite a post, because I already have that up and running. I’m just looking for a way to keep a top 5 (or whatever number) list of the posts […]

@hempsworth Hiya 🙂 Any idea why the styling of my “like” buttons went all wacky with the latest update of the Bp Like plugin? I posted about the issue in the plugin’s forum here on BP, but no answer yet…
