This really does look like something in your theme is causing that. Are you using a child theme of BP Default? What theme are you using?

My guess is that this is probably a CSS issue in your theme. However, it’s a bit hard to judge without a link to your site. Would you be able to provide one please?

Probably your best bet would be to style:

widgets_on_page

So you could do for instance:
widgets_on_page{
border: 2px solid #ccc;
}

You can reset pages under BuddyPress under Settings > BuddyPress. Is that available to you?

Have you tried attaching the hiding to the ul not just the li?

Hi Justinfh, as already mentioned in another of your posts I do think this is to do with your settings not being saved correctly for BuddyPress. If you can follow my advice in that post it may solve both.

Have you got a menu widget in your sidebar widget area? You can check this by going to Appearance > Widgets.

Hi tsuganth, if you want to center align just the contents of the widget (each one) then :

Just as a sanity check have you tried the default theme for BuddyPress? I understand if changing themes isn’t possible on your live site though.

I really like the strong use of colour on your site. Makes me even want you to do that more – it’s really cool. I’m wandering is there meant to be something in the sidebar though? It seems blank to me.
