You will have to do a little bit of adjustment for the CSS:
div#sidebar table {
margin: 0 -16px;
width: 117%;
}

needs to become:div#sidebar table {
margin: 0;
width: 100%;
}

Hi geekandcook, what settings page are you trying to access but unable to? Is this the administration one under your WordPress dashboard?

You can turn comments on and off under the page settings in WordPress. Go to screen options at the top right.
