@Trivikrama This plug-in allows you to exclude users from a member list. It doesn’t work for my purposes for other reasons, but maybe it will work for you: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/author-avatars/

nit3watch – Where is the groups index file located? It’s not within the /plugins/buddypress/bp-groups folder.
