For some it seems to help to do this:
Try adding this code snippet to your wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php:
remove_action( ‘bp_template_redirect’, ‘bp_redirect_canonical’, 2 );

can anyone explain this to me? i dont want to modify core-functions?!
