I have installed version 2.2 and using the latest version of buddypress, but the search doesn’t work, it always returns all the members as the answer.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Hello lbeetles,
Do you have a members widget in the same Members page? And do the search results appear in that widget? If so, remove that widget from the page. If that doesn’t solve the problem, I might need to debug the issue on your test site.

  I don’t have any other members widgets on that page, it is just the members page when you install buddypress.

  Hi a quick thing i found was it doesn’t work on the theme BP Columns 1.2 but works fine when i change the theme to the BuddyPress Default 1.2.7 theme.

Doesn’t BP Columns 1.2 have users widgets in the left sidebar? I’d bet that the search results show up in the left sidebar. Please let me know!
