Hi guys, is it possible to create a new page and then have the tab actually link to another page on another website

I Have created a new page and when the page tab is clicked I would like it to be linked to and external location, I cant seem to figure it out.
Has anyone had any success with this.

Thanks for the reply.
I hadnt made a functions.php file for the child theme. so I have been trying to with little success. The codex says to rename the functions.php so it doesnt clash with the default but that doesnt work either. […]
