Yes, both have the same htaccess settings, including the permissions.

Exactly the same problem still appear even if I use the default theme. Actually, the theme that I use now just a child theme. Without. .htaccess, instead an error that appears. Recently I tried, with only BuddyPress are active, blog posts can appear in actifity stream. So maybe a plugin causes it does not appear. However, the permalink still can not work unless the default permalink. Permalink I now use is “/%author%/%postname%/”. For more details, you can see on my site.

I got the same problem. Did anyone know whether the plugin that caused it. I’m using WordPress 3.0.1, BuddyPress 1.2.5.2 , and so many plugins.

@rhivanz: If your site running on WordPress MS, you can put BuddyPress in the sub-blog, so all BuddyPress features, including user profiles, put there. About how to make it, can be viewed at https://codex.buddypress.org/how-to-guides/changing-internal-configuration-settings
