So is this why all my searches just land me back at the home page? Really frustrating as I can’t search for help on any issues!

I’m getting hit with spammers who seem to be able to register and then post spam comments that show up as activity on my BP site. I don’t get alerts of this and would have to check every day to stop it.

I have unchecked the “Anyone can register” because I wanted to avoid this. But they register as MEMBERS so i don’t see how I can control that.…[Read more]

I also had this problem. The problem seemed to go away when I changed “Disable activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts?” to Yes (under BuddyPress General Settings). Just an FYI, the replies that disappeared were to forum posts, but the notifier email said they were replies to an “update.” I’d like to also […]
