| WordPress Origin Story | Initially I learned to build static sites on Dreamweaver and couldn’t quite get my head around WordPress. I didn’t quite like the fact I couldn’t find the markup (at that point I didn’t know any PHP). So I enrolled in an Oracle course for MySQL 5.0 Development which went through PHP also. After that I gave WordPress another go aswel as Drupal and Joomla. Once I started looking through the WordPress code and reading through the codex I fell in love with it. I use it for almost every website I make now. I’ve still to make any plugins or themes but I’m working on my first theme as I write this. Should be done in a few months. |
