I just upgraded to BP 1.5 and running WP 3.2.1. i was able to do that by commenting out buddypress/bp-core.php line 43

My site is http://blogs.ubc.ca/ and the group widget on the front page sometimes display “There are no groups to display” I don’t know what’s going on. Can anyone help me?

Stumbled into same problem and found this thread. Anyone has a robust solution for this? I don’t want to remove all the linking but just a certain field. I’ll try to do some testing on my own…

I’m not reporting a bug but I have an usability question. I’m running BP 1.2.8 / WP 3.1 / Default BP theme. The only plugins installed are BuddyPress and BP-Privacy. I don’t think there’s a BP Privacy Component Setup page. You can change your user profile’s privacy option under /members/username/privacy/

On my testing install I have WP 3.1 and BP 1.2.8 and it works fine.

The listing found in http://domain.com/wp-admin/my-sites.php and http://domain.com/members/username/blogs/ are different. I’m just using default BP theme.

Hi, I am running WP 3.0 and BP 1.2.5.2 w/ default theme. When I go to members -> my friends tab it’s not filtering my friends only. Can anyone help?

@jeffsayre can the privacy component plugin hide activity stream for a single user? has anyone else here done this before?

Here’s what I did to make a user profile private. I have a child theme developed and I added a variable to allow the user to elect to have his/her public or private.

  My Privacy Component should be out before the end of July. But, I’ve been absolutely terrible with my predictions over the last 7 or so months. There are a few core changes that still need to find their way into BuddyPress before I can release the plugin. I think they will be added in the next version or so.
