@nit3watch It’s a CSS issue. Try something like this. Not tested in all browsers.
div#item-header #item-meta div.share-buttons-group {
position: absolute;
margin-top: 40px;
}Though @boonebgorges should fix his plugin to fit nicely with header buttons instead of a line of text. 😉

You can create your own WordPress page template or widget and create a loop that calls the group avatars. The current groups widget is a good start to see how it works. Also check the theme files group loop.

Modemlooper posted on the forum topic How to set BuddyPress as a page… in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 2 months ago
No. You will need to use WP multisite and put BP on a secondary blog. Search on here this has been asked many times

Modemlooper posted on the forum topic BuddiPhone Progress: Autodetect? in the group IPhone + iPad Themes: 15 years, 2 months ago
@LPH2005 BuddiPhone is not really a theme. It’s more like a web application. It’s taking longer as i’m trying to get it as application like as possible.
I’m also creating a basic theme for now as I need it for a project. It’s just optimized web pages.

Modemlooper posted on the forum topic How to move sidebar from bottom to left in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 2 months ago
You shouldn’t start a new thread for the same issues. The problem with your layout is this. Your container is inside a div with inline styles. Your container div for your WP theme has no id and inline styling. Then you have the BP files shoved inside that. < div some inline style < div […]

Modemlooper posted on the forum topic Styling Buddypress having issues. Should it look like this? in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 2 months ago
uhhg, your site has inline css styling your layout. divs with no name are going to make it more work to fix. normally you just rename the divs in the BP theme files to match your WP theme to use the same styling. You will need to add your own CSS to to make the […]

You should always test plugins before pushing them to a live site even though they say they are compatible.

Modemlooper posted on the forum topic Twitter requires new OAuth in the group Tweetstream: 15 years, 2 months ago
Anyone can take this plugin and move it forward. That’s why WP licensing is all about, so plugins that don’t get updated can be by the community. I do think we need a BP Twitter integration but pulling tweets into a BP site is the wrong way to go in my opinion. The whole social […]

Modemlooper posted on the forum topic Using bp-default theme for non-bp wordpress blog in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 2 months ago
Yup, you create a theme using the BP files that are for WP like single.php and then link to the CSS in your BP folder. Then when you edit the default themes styles it automatically updates the secondary blog. I may even do one of these and upload to WP theme repo as it’s something […]
