If you do not specify an image Facebook scrapes page and finds first image. You have to put meta tags in header.

Choose the site wide option

BuddyPress has bbPress so delete the extra plugin. Then go into settings > BuddyPress in the admin. Click forum tab and setup bbPress

I think this theme is out dated, there have been postings about it being broken.

This will hide the menu item but the url wont route to a user

i’d assume. Test it out. I don’t do MU very much but I think the bbPress attached to BP is not network compatible(you can’t network activate).

bbPress can be network activated so each subsite can create forums but I’m not sure if the site wide forums option in BuddyPress can be network activated.
