There is a phpBB3 WP Bridge that works really well but as far as I can tell it will not play well with BuddyPress. At least I have not yet gotten it to work.

At this point there is a WP-phpBB Bridge that works just fine with WP and phpBB but given that it redirects user account creation to phpBB I am not sure if it will work with BuddyPress.

I have posted about similar needs in the forums so I will continue to watch this thread.

The only issue I noticed with tis is the fact that the title for all sites is that of the main site.
