A user asked me how to show a users albums on the profile page.
To display something in my plugin one has to add a shortcode.
In this shortcode one can specify what to be seen, example:

The plugin wp-photo-album-plus uses frontend alax in many places. When BP is installed, the output of an ajax call is sent to the client using echoing the result of
wp_json_encode( ['html' => $html, 'js' => $js] );
