Hey there, been using your plugin and it works really well. Quick question though:
Latest Topics always shows sticky topics on top, even if they are old. Is there a remedy for this? -

Ahhh thanks. The reason why I was doing it that way was that, following the instructions on screen resulted in the plugin attempting to install bbpress, instead of updating the database. I tried it again, this time installing wp and whatnot into the same database as smf, followed the procedures to the letter. It worked for the most part.…[Read more]

Pardon me. I was hasty and forgot to say:
Yes, I did the database upgrade *after* importing the data. Would be silly not to. The upgrade only seems to work on 3.0.2 and 1.2.6, which is odd. The screenshot of the last post if from when I click on a group’s forum tab. -

@normen Hi there. I’ve been trying to migrate from smf to wp+bp and, while this plugin manages to import things, it doesn’t quite work.
How I went about it:
Fresh install of wordpress (3.0). Activate Buddypress 1.2.4.

You’re dong it wrong. Do it exactly as said in the admin page. Dont activate the bbpress forums before, you have to “import existing bbpress install” *after* you have imported the data and upgraded your database.
