@peterverkooijen I think a patch has already been submitted in Trac and the next version of BP (hopefully next week?) will fix it.

Awesome. It’s one of those things that’s so obvious but that we just overlooked. Must be because everyone who uses BP is soooo nice that no one ever has conflict. 😉

I have the same problem actually. The menu only appears underneath the “Settings” tab and never underneath “BuddyPress”.

By the way, the current plugin version is 0.8.7 but the changelog only shows up to 0.8.6. Is it possible that we’re upgrading to the wrong version of the plugin?

  Nah, that’s me forgetting to update the changelog. Bad bad me, I know. 🙂 Another tiny update coming very soon, then I’ll correct that too.

Hi @slaFFik

I found a small bug, when the “Click it” option is chosen the plugin works correctly on the main website and main blog. But when visiting other blogs the avatar bubbles appear when hovering over the avatars, and not by clicking them.

If I remember correctly @mention does appear for blog comments, just not on blog posts. I agree, that functionality would be nice and makes sense since it works for all other aspects of a BP-enabled site. There’s a trac ticket for this: https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2380

Definitely do what @hnla suggested and deactivate all of your BuddyPress related plugins 1st before upgrading.
