I think the one called “Blog” is the blog posts that you write.for your main site. Try writing a new blog post and see what happens. You can change what shows up as your main page by going to your Dashboard and viewing “Settings” >> “Reading”.

You might consider tweaking the BP Group CSS plugin. Perhaps disable the “Group CSS” admin option except for Site Super-Admins. That way all the group’s default CSS settings will be set to your theme’s CSS files but then you as the Site Super-Admin can individually change the CSS for each group as you please.

@antonrsa I noticed the same phenomenon myself a few months ago. After some research I discovered the wp_tag_cloud page. You’ll want to change your “order” parameter. Here’s mine below:

$gtags_args = array( 'smallest' => 8, 'largest' => 23, 'number' => 45, 'order' => 'RAND', 'separator' => '&nbsp ' );

I’ve used !AND1 in the past for just regular WP installs (not WPMU or BP) and I wasn’t all that pleased with them. When I finally switched over to JustHost for my normal WP installs I was much more satisfied with their stability and faster pageloads in general. For my BP install I use RackSpaceCloud.

Do you have WordPress Single-User or Multi-User installed?

Yeah, what @rossagrant said. After clicking an avatar the user wants to have some type of immediate response. They want to see something loading right away. 😀
