Is there any way (plugin etc.) that I can have users email buddypress and their email will be automatically posted into their activity stream (i.e. based on their email address)? This would be so useful!

I am using the plugin: ‘BuddyPress Activity Stream Hashtags’ to create hashtags in activity stream posts,
Is there a way to display a tag cloud of these hastags as a sidebar widget?
