I upgraded to 1.2.4 which is supposed to have this fixed (https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2342) and found it is still broken for me :(. My problem is exactly the same as listed in that ticket.

Is this still broken for anyone else or have any suggestions?

@r-a-y – one of my members seems to be having a bug with their username while everyone elses works correctly. His username is “zubair123” but it is showing up as “zubair123123”.
