You have to make sure the
call is in the theme’s footer.php.If it messes up your layout, try putting it at the very end before the closing
tag. -
r-a-y posted on the forum topic Remove TAB in Buddypress for newly created pages in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 2 months ago
You’ll need to modify wp_list_pages() in your theme’s header.php to exclude the page ID of the classifieds.
If you don’t like messing around with theme files, you could probably try this plugin:

You’re probably trying to override the default styles so try adding an
!importantdeclaration in your definition.eg.
h1 { color:#ff6600 !important; font-size:x-large !important; font-family: Georgia,serif !important; } -

Btw, the newest BP release doesn’t require the code snippet listed in the ticket.

Looks fine to me… all avatars appear to run off of HTTPS, the only problem I see is you’re linking to an image that isn’t SSL.
The item is loading from widgets.twimg.com.

Good to know you figured it out!
BuddyPress has forced me to learn a lot more about WordPress as well. A win-win! -
r-a-y posted on the forum topic Forum replies not threaded in activity stream in the group Creating & Extending: 15 years, 2 months ago
That’s currently the correct behaviour.
The activity stream is a separate component from the group forums.
Could be possible to thread forum replies together in the activity stream with some activity meta… needs investigating. -

You need to upgrade your Custom Community theme to take advantage of this.
Bug the theme author!Or you can manually do this by mirroring the changes made to /groups/single/admin.php.

@bazonline – You shouldn’t have much trouble then. Just activate bp-default on the community blog only and not on all the blogs. If you’re just having problem with the page
, go into your community blog’s general settings and change the blog title: https://codex.wordpress.org/Settings_General_SubPanel @aweathers – Like I said, you need to modify…[Read more] -

It will enable oEmbed on all xprofile fields at the moment. So if you need to target specific xprofile fields, use Brajesh’s technique for now.

I’ve got a better regex working on my test build that I haven’t updated in a while.
Good idea to filter the regex, will add this in the next test build.

BuddyPress supports forums via the bbPress forum script. It does not offer native SMF import support.
You might be speaking of the BuddyPress SMF Import plugin:

Instead of relying on the field name, try the field id instead:
bp_profile_field_data( 'field=1' );// 1 = your field id
You can find the field id by hovering over the “Edit” or “Delete” button of the field name on the Profile Field Setup screen.

Theming BuddyPress is like theming any other WordPress theme. You’ll just need to add all the BuddyPress-related template files to your theme for it to be BuddyPress-compatible. There’s a plugin out there that automates this, BP Template Pack: https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/bp-template-pack/ However, use it as a guide as it needs to be…[Read more]

BuddyPress doesn’t offer native PayPal support.
You might need to contact the developers of the 3rd-party plugin you’re using to make sure it’s compatible with BuddyPress.

Thank you. Alas, I won’t be able to update to 1.2.6 until mid-December. The main blog, The Otis Times, has a Flickr feed in its sidebar, which will keep IE users in pop-up warnings for a long while.
I meant to say that SSL support for gravatars was added in BP 1.2.4.
