Global should be called inside the function you’re creating.

You need to call the global before you can use it.

global $current_blog;

The blog id is $current_blog->blog_id

$current_blog is a multi-site only variable though. I haven’t read the whole thread so I’m not sure what you guys are trying to do 😉
