Saw your Trac ticket:
https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2556This is a weird bug. It shouldn’t show the RSS link on an AJAX request. If you have any other plugins or custom code running, please disable them and only have BuddyPress and the BP default theme running

You can’t have two FB AutoConnect buttons on the same page. Remove one of them.

r-a-y posted on the forum topic Are these BP Plugins compatible with WP3? in the group Creating & Extending: 15 years, 5 months ago
PMs for Friends Only works; I just haven’t bumped the compatibility tag.
Also do check the oEmbed for BP v0.6 beta.

I’d say that most of the BP plugins should work. Only plugins that interact with WordPress in some manner should be flagged for testing.

In your child theme’s stylesheet, add this:
a {color:red !important;}If you made a copy of the bp-default stylesheets in your child theme, that rule would be located in /_inc/css/default.css.
What’s all this talk about child themes? Read up here:

r-a-y posted on the forum topic How can I customize a special group? in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 5 months ago
Use BP_MEMBERS_SLUG as it’s a constant.
eg.
echo 'This is my cool ' . BP_MEMBERS_SLUG . ' slug for members'; -
r-a-y posted on the forum topic Is it possible to get only the avatar-url ? in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 5 months ago
@odiggy – You could also use:
bp_loggedin_user_avatar( 'html=false' );
(available in /bp-core/bp-core-templatetags.php)Because that will automatically call the logged in user’s avatar without using the generic bp_core_fetch_avatar() and needing additional parameters.

r-a-y posted on the forum topic How can I customize a special group? in the group How-To and Troubleshooting: 15 years, 5 months ago
@nickmy – That’s actually your code, I just corrected it 😉
You should do a conditional for only the group you want to modify.
if ( bp_get_group_slug() == 'YOURSLUG' )
locate_template( array( 'groups/single/'. bp_get_group_slug() . '.php' ), true ) -

Use bp_core_fetch_avatar() and pass the “html” argument as false.
Check out bp_core_fetch_avatar() @ /bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php.

@nickmy – You have the right idea.
However change bp_group_slug() to bp_get_group_slug().
locate_template( array( 'groups/single/'. bp_get_group_slug() . '.php' ), true ) -

@shimmermoss – Make the changes as outlined in the patch. There are three files you have to modify. You’ll most likely have to access these files via FTP to edit them.

I believe Daniel wants to add a tab on the group directory page.
That would require manipulating the “bp_ajax_querystring” filter located in /bp-themes/bp-default/_inc/ajax.php.

If you remove that function and filter, you cannot set the activity stream as frontpage. if that is not an issue for you, then go ahead and remove the filter:
remove_filter( 'page_template', 'bp_dtheme_page_on_front_template' );The problem probably has something to do with the empty $wp_query->post->ID. The DAP team should either remove the…[Read more] -

Thanks for testing, Erlend. There was a bug in the code. New update should have group descriptions and xprofile fields disabled by default.
