Andy did not create these plugins. There is currently a bug in the BuddyPress plugin directory that doesn’t attach some plugin authors to their respective plugin. It falls back to Andy’s avatar when the bug occurs.

You can’t remove it as an action, since bp_get_displayed_user_nav() is a template tag and not an actionable item.
If you’re using a child theme, remove the calls to bp_get_displayed_user_nav() or try hiding the menu via CSS.

Could be a BP group plugin you installed recently?
Try deactivating any BP group plugins and see if you can encounter the error again.

This is a rather old thread.
Group activity is now available since BP 1.2.

Personal activity is available via:
http://example.com/members/admin/activity/feed/

However, this shows all personal activity including activity you make in groups, etc.

You might want to check out Richard Venable’s Biblefox plugin:

It’s not exactly a prayer request module, but might be related to what you want.

By default, BuddyPress uses the user_nicename column in the DB and not the user_login. Make sure your user_nicename is the same as your user_login.

Or you can add the following line to wp-config.php:
define( 'BP_ENABLE_USERNAME_COMPATIBILITY_MODE', true );

This is a known bug. A proposed fix is listed in the following ticket:

As a rule of thumb, it’s usually not recommended to try and edit a plugin’s source file unless you know what you’re doing!

Not sure why you’re attempting to edit the bp-core-signup.php file. This is something you should not be doing!

You must have changed the following in your theme:
/activity/index.php
/activity/activity-loop.php
/activity/entry.php

Make a backup of these files.
Next, copy the same files from the /plugins/buddypress/bp-default/ directory to your theme and see what happens.
