You’ll have to wait for Google to check your site again.
You can expedite this process by signing up for Google’s Webmaster Tools and requesting your site to be delisted.
Also make sure your WP site is blocked from search engines:

Easiest way to remove favorites is to use CSS:
li#activity-favorites, li#activity-favs-personal-li, a#bp-admin-activity-favs, .activity-meta a.fav {display:none;}This will hide all favorite buttons and tabs (I think).

BuddyPress is overkill.
You want to use a front-end posting plugin. There are a bunch of them out there.
Here’s one thread:

Such a discussion was briefly brought up by @sbrajesh today on the dev chat.
BP components will be full-on pages in BP 1.3.
However, there are currently no plans to implement custom post types for BP components. -

Add the following snippet to your theme’s functions.php: http://pastebin.com/Jpc9GnAx (updated) This will disable RSS feeds in BP. You’ll also have to manually get rid of the RSS feed buttons. There are two ways to go about this. 1. Use CSS to hide the RSS buttons 2. Remove the RSS feed buttons via a child theme […]

Blog roles were removed because of performance:
https://trac.buddypress.org/changeset/2394In the interim, tell them to go to the WP dashboard, or you can try using a front-end posting plugin.

Well creating a network (basically MU) in WP 3.0 still requires that same deterrent-knowledge you speak of. Not everyone will be turning this on! However, bringing this functionality to the masses also sheds light to the project and more developers will be able to contribute to the codebase. I do agree with you about mass-communities! […]

I’m in agreement with Rich because the activity stream is the main component in BP, so why not utilize it? (btw, sorry for not getting back to you, Rich!). Custom post types are powerful; the next iteration of bbPress as a WordPress plugin will be powered in some way by custom post types, but that is […]

@erich73 – That issue isn’t valid anymore and isn’t related to this topic. @brianglanz, @Dennis_H – I’ve added support for whitelisting specific user IDs for the next version. Expect it in the next day or so. Follow-up question: If you’re on these whitelisted user’s pages, should the “Send Private Message” button be shown? You’ll probably say…[Read more]

Good point, will make sure that admins are able to see the “Send Private Message” button at all times.
This will make its way in the next release. -

@intimez – I need to be able to duplicate your problem. Are you using standard WP or WPMU? If you’re using standard WP, if youโre an administrator or can access the blog options pages , it should work. On WPMU, you need to be a site administrator, which is different than a regular administrator. Login to the WPMU […]
