Make sure that you’re referencing the right page ID? Also try other page IDs to see if wp_list_pages() is actually working.

Are you able to access the WP admin area?
If not, disable every single plugin you have except for BP, then attempt to disable some BP components.

@nig3d – What questions do you have? I’ll try to answer them. But it’s always best to dig through the code yourself to find out which functions do what.

Here are some short answers to your questions: 1. A custom plugin is needed for this. Or you could use an auto group join plugin . 2. Could try modifying the group template in your child theme to add a forum loop . 3. Read this – https://codex.buddypress.org/how-to-guides/changing-internal-configuration-settings/ 4. Requires a custom plugin. Look…[Read more]

This is probably because you have a folder called “register” in the root of your website.
If you do not have anything under this folder, please delete it.

If you’re using a child theme, simply edit header.php and modify the wp_list_pages() line with:
wp_list_pages( 'exclude=14' ); -

You could try disabling a few BP components from the WP admin area. Login to the WP dashboard and navigate to “BuddyPress > Component setup”. Disable features that you will not need. The alternative is you could perhaps use a different WP social networking plugin like Mingle… that might use less memory. Probably not what […]

I wouldn’t use the same function across multiple filters… since each filter is different.

In WPMU, I just gave site admin access to another member and that member is able to send private messages to other people w/o being friends.
Just to be clear, is your username listed as a site admin here?

You are always welcome to create your own default theme if you’re not pleased with the packaged one that comes with BuddyPress.
You’ll just have to spend more time creating your own theme! -

You should be able to. Are you using standard WP or WPMU? I haven’t done any testing with standard WP, but if you’re an administrator or can access the blog options pages in standard WP, my plugin should work.
On WPMU, you need to be a site administrator, which is different than a regular administrator.
Let me know which version of WP you are using.

Im using WPMU, yes I’m a site administrator as well, but can’t see the private message.
