@blackphantom @blackphantom Hi Peter — any clues as to why I’m getting a blank screen on the Buddystream cronjobs settings page?

@pisanojm @pisanojm hi — thanks for all your great work: any sense of why I might be getting a blank page on the cronjobs setting page in Buddystream?
Apologies if this is too direct a way of getting through to you — we’re just facing a bit of a crunch here. Any heads-up on what to look for would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

@denverwindowinfo @denverwindowinfo hey did you ever figure out that cronjob settings tab issue for buddystream? I’m having the same problem.

@boonebgorges @boonebgorges @boonebgorges — just wondering if you had any suggestion on how to make it possible for admins to select pairs of users and “auto-friend” them… we’re doing a big project for USC that requires this (long story)…
poking around with @DJPaul ‘s Welcome Pack, but not quite there yet. I can see in the db that it’s…[Read more]

cool – diving into that now. one more question though — do you think it’s possible to use the new meta field to do points subtotals? e.g. if I have 5 categories of achievements, could I figure out a way to track points on a per-category basis? and also — how much of all this […]

…and here I was just hoping someone would post a code snippet for me to copy and paste! 😉
will work on it this week — any hints about where to start?

Has anyone figured out how to add another meta field into achievement creation? I’d like to be able to have categories of achievements, so I could have sorted lists (in my case, mapped to groups). Basically, I think I could filter achievements listings if I could add a meta field to each achievement (preferably, by […]

this code works great — checks if the logged in user has an achievement, then does something depending on if they’ve unlocked it or not. Paul, I had to replace ‘action’ with ‘slug’ but otherwise it’s solid: ` global $bp; $user_id = $bp->loggedin_user->id; if ( dpa_has_achievements( array( ‘user_id’ => $user_id, ‘type’ => ‘single’, ‘slug’ =>…

Thanks, Paul — I’ll experiment with your snippet tonight/tomorrow and report back.

Hey, does anyone know how to check if a user has an achievement or not?
I want to hide certain parts of my site to users until they have unlocked particular achievements. I’ll do the hiding with CSS, but I just need to know how to do a
type statement.

@DJPaul that would be incredibly helpful — assignment -> group mapping in Achievements.

@DJPaul – I agree with @imjscn that Student Achievements should be triggered when students’ assignments are graded, and that this should be by group in the same way that the achievements for joining particular groups are already set up ( e.g –> Student joins Group –> Student Responds to Assignment –> Teacher Grades Assignment ). There should…
