Is this perhaps more an issue of sitewide forum posts not showing up in the activity stream?

Okay, I have created a custom menu to force the forum tab to show in the menu.

I have associated my forum with the page linked to that tab.

When I click the tab it redirects to my home page.

Anyone got any ideas?!
