The ajax chat that is out right now isn’t all that great from what I hear. I’d love an integrated Facebook style chat.
Surely someone out there must be working on something like that?

I too would love a basic and reliable instant messaging solution on BP. I haven’t found one yet. Anyone know of or developing a decent one?

have you cleared your cache just incase it’s still saved from before and you must click ‘update general seo’ for anything to take place initially even if you have the plugin installed. Only then will the tables be made.

I’ve got the forum as the default tab now and have it first in the list of tabs. Is there a simple way to rename the Home tab to ‘Group Activity’ ?

I think I have made the php file properly and pasted in the code but on my site it just shows the code in the header. I must be doing something wrong.

@r-a-y thanks for this mate! I can’t see a bp-custom.php file in my wp-content/plugins folder though. Should it be there or do I need to create one?

Anyone got any ideas for this. When you click on a group, would be nice to go straight to the forums page.

Love your design of the signup page! I use S2 Member too. How did you design the table with the subscription options. I only have one membership level but I’d like to lay it out in a table like you have done. Any ideas?

@nuprn1 I’ve worked out the problem. When a member is new your plugin can’t assign an average number of posts etc per day for a member less than a day old and thus displays just a number and no description. Something to look at for the next release maybe. Thanks for a great plugin though!

@nuprn1 any idea on why I’m having the above trouble? Only happens with new members that I have created since 2..1.4.1 of BP. Stats are just showing numbers and not what the numbers represent.

They are scripted Paul. they can be customised by the site admin to inform new users of all of the features of a site. rather than having one MASSIVE email with loads of info on, the auto follow up emails can be set up to send out for example; Welcome email 1 on day 1 […]

The plugin you need is Buddypress restrict group forums. Search for it through your admin panel and set the permissions accordingly. 😉
