I’m building a group site with video and film professionals. Is there away to allow members to embed videos of their work in their profile page? Most people would be using embed codes from common sites like, youtube, vimeo, blip, viddler.

You’ll need to look at a filter for member profiles. Take a look at /bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-filters.php. Then you’d need to hook it into the oEmbed plugin. Look at where I start caching it for forum posts and activity updates.
