do you have intense debate installed? I had the same problem after I converted my site to WPMU for BP. When I disabled Intense Debate it unlocked the settings page and you were able to save your changes, most importantly the one about enabling user registrations.

any luck with this? I’ve honestly spent hours using different combinations but still without success. It seems so straightforward but I wonder why it is not recognizing the ID in the forums.

yes, same here.At least I’m not getting any php error messages so the codes make sense. I only know very basic php. same exact problem, blank page after proceeding to step 3. Please, if anyone has a solution for this it will be greatly appreciated as my project will be stalled until I can find a solution to this.
