In this version some php things were fixed that prevented in some cases bubble to appear (or produced errors).
So this update is highly recommended for everyone using this plugin.

No, it’s not compatible with BP 1.5.
Too many changes are needed to be done. Perhaps later this month.

Please test it one more time. I have fixed one small issue with importing groups (problem was when Forums component was inactive).

BP Default Data works with BuddyPress 1.5 only. No 1.2.x support. Sorry.

Please see the code, main file. There are plenty of hooks – so you can add any info there (just disable displaying anything from admin page and add your own code using add_action()).

It can’t be this plugin – or at least I have no idea why that happens. I don’t touch activity at all – in any ways.
