Thanks very much for your help! I am now managed to change the color of the buttons.
I have found out an another way round it already. Anyway, thanks a lot for your help!
`php if (is_front_page()) : ?><?php else :`
Thanks for your quick responses guys! Since I only want to hide the homepage from log-in users, so where or in which file do I have to insert the codes as you have suggested, @karmatosed? And before what line of codes? And do I have to insert this line of codes as well,
Hi again @djpaul, thank you for your help last time. Now I run into the same problem again because I decided to reactivate the Wangguard plugin again to see about the strange fields & text would show up again, which it did. So, I decided to delete the plugin completely, but the funny thing is the strange fields with the text, “Write down whats your favorite hobby is (required)” are still showing up on the registration page?! So, I don’t understand….Do you know some solutions to this? I thank you in advance!
My website is, http://buddygalaxy.com/.
Sorry the code is here: head profile=”http://gmpg.org/xfn/11″
You’re right, thanks a lot! I have just deactivated the Wangguard plugin and the strange field disappears straight away. I’ll contact the author for support asap then. Thank you so much again, you save my day .
So, if I try to disable it do you think the strange field will go away? Anyway, I’ll try to deactivate it now and see what happens. Thanks!
BP Xtra Signup, Achievements, All in One SEO Pack, BackUpWordPress, BP User Profile Map, BuddyPress Album, BuddyPress Community Stats, and loads more, so I can’t really list all of them here. Do you think that some or one of the plugins could create this strange field in the registration form by itself?
Thanks for your prompt response! I haven’t added any field that says, “Write down whats your favorite hobby is”, and I have also looked into “Profile Fields” under the “Users” menu, but there’s also nothing there?! So, I don’t get it where’s this field coming from?
I have found a solution to my issue, so I have marked as solved!
Here’s the link to the error_log: git://gist.github.com/3277992.git
Let me check, just a sec.
Yes, I do have a back up. But, how do I re-install it then?
I have members on my site, so it will be difficult for me to re-install it.
And I use bp-default theme.
But, how can I update/upgrade my theme and plugin (s) to make them compatible with buddypress 1.6 when I can’t even access the admin back-end?
I have sorted it out already. Anyway Thanks!
Thanks @mercime for your suggestion, but in which file should I add the time code because I don’t want to add it in the single.php file since it will only show up in single post. I want the time to show on the main blog page, so in which file should I modify? Beforehand Thanks!
Thank you so much Roger Coathup! I could now make the time to show, although people have to click on the blog’s title first to read the rest of the blog before they could see the time. Anyway, it works! Thank you so much again. Take care!
Thanks to you both for the prompt responses! But, I can’t seem to find the exact file to modify the time or add the time code into it. I have also changed the time setting under General, but still only the date that shows, not the time?!
Thank you for the prompt responses to both of you! I tried yours methods, karmatosed, but it didn’t work. Then I tried yours, @mercime, which worked. So, thank you very much again to both of you.
Cheers!
Thank you very much Hugo for your help. When you mentioned, “You have two unclosed elements in the div id=”header” block”, in which file you were talking about? I tried to look in bp-default/header.php, bp-default/index.php, and in my child theme’s header.php that I have created, but I couldn’t find the two unclosed elements as you said? Could you please specify: in which file you have found the two unclosed elements, so I could fix it? Beforehand Thanks!
Thanks for your reply! I just wanted to know how to modify the bp-default theme with a child theme, so it will look like the buddypress.org theme.
